The painting was then photographed and digitally animated to illustrate these specific traits in a somewhat ethereal and dynamic fashion.
Mario Henrique is a Portuguese painter best known for his contemporary, large scale portraiture. Graduated in Design from Lisbon’s University of Fine Arts, Mario became a prolific portraitist, fascinated by the unpredictability of the human behavior: the brief glances, the impermanence of facial expressions, the sudden movements. Listed in various private collections in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, Mario is currently represented by several prestigious galleries across the globe, and also owns a studio/gallery at the Marina, in Cascais (Portugal), where some of his paintings are publicly exhibited.
